Other videos we have made

Right through his career Ernie has danced around the edge of making videos, before deciding to turn this into a business.

Way back in the 1970s, during an 18 month stint working at the old Ministry of Works and Development, he was one of the first people in New Zealand to make training videos when video technology was seriously new. These included several on how to drive the Ministry's specialised computer programmes, one on how to assemble a Bailey bridge in an emergency, and one (his favourite!) on the procedures for using stop/go paddles on road works sites. He freely admits these would not pass muster by today's standards, but at the time they felt ground-breaking.

In mid career he held a range of public-facing roles which included fronting television interviews. Being trained by experts including Ian Fraser in how to front the camera gave him some excellent insights into engaging video communication techniques.

More recently he filmed and managed a number of video company profiles for about 15 Wireless Internet Service Providers, or WISPs.
